π Overview
Project Type: Independent Passion Project
Duration: 3 months
Role: UX Designer & Researcher, Branding Strategist
Methods: UX Research, Interaction Design, Prototyping, Branding, Systems Thinking
This app helps strengthen personal connections with seamless messaging, keep-in-touch reminders, and a shared social calendar. It's like a reminder app, but designed to nurture relationships and plan real-world meetups easily.
𧩠Problem
Many users find it difficult to stay connected with friends and loved ones amidst digital overload and time constraints. Existing platforms prioritize content over connection, making it harder to sustain personal relationships.
π‘ Solution
Reduce the friction of initiating conversations
Support proactive relationship-building
Enable low-effort, high-impact touchpoints
π Key Features
Prioritized contact dashboard for clarity and ease
Shortcut-based and automated messaging to reduce decision fatigue
Customizable frequency settings for staying in touch
Personalized contact pages that adapt to user preferences
π― Outcomes & Learnings
While formal metrics werenβt collected, user feedback and iterative testing revealed key qualitative wins:
Users showed interest in integrating the app into weekly routines to stay more present with loved ones
Personalization features helped the experience feel emotionally relevant, not just functional.
The project reinforced the value of lightweight, intentional UX patterns in supporting long-term behavior change.
This case study deepened my ability to design with emotional nuance, test leanly, and build features aligned with real human needs, not just utility.
